Food For Thought - Southend-on-Sea
The Southend Page is getting long in the tooth now - I'm been thinking of removing it for some time - certainly editing the text which I wrote while I was still living in London. Then just a couple of days ago I met a young lady who has been living in the Charente region of France for a couple of years but who hails from Southend. She spent a few nostalgic minutes 'oohing' and 'aahing' at the images of a place she hasn't seen for a very long time. So I've decided to keep it alive for the time being.!
If you've been to Southend, you cannot fail to have some thoughts about it. In case you haven't - I took a few photographs which reflect how I saw Southend on a rather dull but warmish September afternoon last year. I'd love to receive your pieces about Southend (no more than 1000 words, please) I'd love to make up a page of Southend stories. No prizes. Too late for that.
